Statement from Taylor Ponder, CASA Volunteer

Since being assigned to my case in Fall 2025, I have truly enjoyed serving as a CASA. I was initially nervous about how the child would receive me at such a tender age, but over time our bond has grown in the most meaningful way. We now both look forward to our monthly time together. The foster parent has shared that they get excited when they know I’m coming, and the feeling is absolutely mutual. I love advocating for my child and playing my part in supporting their well-being. Being their CASA is an honor, and I truly love every moment of it.

Atlanta CASA Community Engagement

Atlanta CASA participated in the AAP Future Forward Career Expo hosted by United Way. Youth who attend Promise Career Academy received valuable information and insight to different Career pathways.
Our New Jr. Academy Trainer Dee Craig, did an outstanding job engaging with the youth, sparking their curiosity, and inspiring their interest in our program and serving in their communities. As a result, 22 youth signed up for the May 3 week training course.
Great job Dee! You were truly in your element today, inspiring our future leaders.

Holiday Wrap 2024

12/7/2024

Atlanta CASA’s annual Holiday Wrap event is our signature community and partner connect event where we ensure foster children in our program experience a traditional holiday season while we continue to advocate in their best interest towards them achieving permanency in a safe and loving forever home. To achieve the goal of a traditional holiday season, Atlanta CASA relies on community partners like you to Change A Child's Story. It isn't too late to donate. No gift is too small. Thank you!
